Bijrani safari zone consists of core buffer areas at jim corbett national park.
Birjari Safari Zone is the core buffer area of Jim Corbett National Park. It is the most popular safari zone for wildlife safari. Amadanda gate is the entry gate for the Bijrani safari zone. Amadanda gate is 1 Km from Ramnagar and one has to cross 5 km to enter the buffer zone to reach bijrani.Visiting in the core areas is not allowed by the authorities. Visitors can enter the zone through Amadanda gate by taking the permit issued from the Corbett tiger reserve. Bijrani is a beautiful spot known for its vast grasslands, deep forest and wild life. This is the thick area with thick sal,grasslands and a large number of stream beds due to which spotting tiger chances are high in this area as compared to other zones in jim Corbett national park.
In Bijrani zone, only 30 vehicles are allowed to travel in morning and evening hours. So visitors require to book morning safari in advance and evening safari is based on first come first basis. One can hire Gypsy safari and elephant safari . In gypsy, maximum six persons can be accommodated in a single gypsy. In gypsy safari one driver and guide will accompany the visitors for whole the Safari.One can also opt for Elephant safari but that has to be pre-booked and only four persons can accommodated in the elephant safari at single time.
The Bijrani tourism zone is open from the 15th October to 30th June. During monsoon it is closed because of the poor roads in the forest.

Bijrani Forest Rest House is located in the core Bijrani Zone at Jim Corbett National Park.Malani Forest rest house is located in the core buffer area of the park. Located 12 km northwest of Bijrani, visitors are advised to book the rest house in advance as there is lot of rush during the season time.
Dhikala Forest Lodge Jim Corbett - Forest department takes care of the dhikala forest Lodge and booking can be done through forest office at Ramnagar. It is the most preferable rest house for the tourist. Forest lodge is 30Kms from the Dhangri Entry
